About Us
Highlands Swim Club, nestled in the Mission Highlands neighborhood of Fremont, California, has been the location for countless summer memories for the past 60 years. It is a member-owned, private swim club, that is volunteer operated and administered by an elected board of directors.
Every member, beyond having access to the pool and facilities during the swim season, owns an equal share of the club and has a voice in club administration and priorities.
The members have access to:
- Large club grounds secured by a fobbed entry
- 25 yard long, 5 lane wide pool that was resurfaced in 2025
- Pool depth from 3'6" at the shallow end to 6' at the deep end to accommodate new and experienced swimmers
- One lane always reserved for lap swimmers
- Lifeguards on duty during the high season
- Member socials organized by the club
- Private party reservations
- Annual Membership meeting
- Tables with chairs and umbrellas, chaise lounges around the pool
- BBQs, tables and benches in a shaded patio area
- Restrooms and outdoor showers
- Kitchenette with refrigerator and microwave for day use
- Games such as Volleyball, Badminton, Table tennis, and more
- Tree lined large lawn
- Spacious private parking lot
- Access to private swim lessons by experienced lifeguards
The club is also the home of the Highlands Sharks Swim Team, a member of the East Bay Swim League. See below.
